Any workout that you do in the pool you can do in open water. We have done IM, sprint and kicking workouts. We have done relays, sharks and minnows and played water polo. Use your imagination. Courses are easy to set up. Anything that floats can be used as a buoy. Just attach some rope and a five or ten pound weight and drop to the bottom.
