About This Program

Our beginner-friendly program will help you build up strength and stamina to successfully finish your first 5K, get back into shape after a break, or even snag a new personal best! This program is built to get you to the finish line at the Big Run 5K on Global Running Day, Wednesday, June 4.


The Big Run 5K program is open to all ages, abilities, and experience levels.


Learn the basics of running form using mobility and drills, along with supplemental strength training to prevent injury. With our program, you'll develop a greater understanding of race training, product education, and proper recovery techniques so that you can perform at your best.


Fleet Feet Austin training members will receive exclusive perks including an in-store discount during training, the opportunity to try out new product, access to videos for at-home training, and more!



FAQS

What days will we be meeting in-person for sessions?

Our plan for the training schedule is to have the coach and members meet twice weekly for in-person sessions, Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.


Where will we be running in-person?

We will be utilizing various run routes between north and central Austin, with the Fleet Feet Gateway store as our home-base for certain events throughout the course of the program.


What do we do when we're not meeting in-person?

At-home programming will be provided by the coach through our scheduling platform and walking/running routes are up to your discretion.
